Description
Borehole and Tank Level Board, for control and protection of the electric pump used in pressurized water supply and filling systems, as well as control of the level of holes or associated tanks.
Applications
Electric panel for tank filling control by submersible pump, with automatic stop system in case of lack of water in the hole.
Protections
Electric pump protection against lack of water in the hole and by maximum level, preventing spills in the tank.
Short circuit protection -16 amp circuit breaker.
Overload protection – thermal relay.
Indication of pump in service (green light) and thermal trip (red light).
Operation
- Make the connections as indicated on the sticker, with the circuit breaker turned off (off).
- Adjust the thermal relay according to the nominal current of the motor.
- Switch the switch to the automatic position “AUTO”.
- The level relay measures the water levels through the information collected from the level probes installed in the hole and in the tank.
- When selecting the command switch to the “AUTO” position, the contactor trips (turns on the pump and lights up the green light on the panel) if the pair of contacts p4 and p5 are closed or jumpered , that is, if there is water in the hole and the tank is not full.
- If the control circuit switch is in position “0” the contactor will not arm.
- If the command circuit switch is in the “MANUAL” position (), the contactor trips and the pump turns on regardless of the command status of the pair of contacts p4 and p5 and the level condition in the warehouse.
- Contact “s1” switches on when the water level reaches the maximum level probe (terminal 6, the green led on relay n.a., high level lights up) and when the water level drops below the minimum level probe level of the deposit (post 10).
- The “s1” contact trips when the liquid level drops below the minimum level probe level in the hole (terminal 7) (the green “n.a.” LED turns off) or above the maximum level in the tank (terminal 8).< /li>
- In the event of tripping of the thermal relay (overload) the pump switches off (red light on the panel lights up), regardless of the information provided by any of the other commands.
