Description
Alternating relay for alternating control of two electropumps, control of lack of water in the supply network and output for alarm.
Control signals by closing contact, pressure switch and internal timing
Alternating voltage for water-tight probe
Applications
- Control signals by closing contact, pressure switch and internal timing
- Alternating voltage for water supply probe
Operation
Power the relay (green led on – A.1)
Two sec. after closing the pair of contacts “P1” (5-6), it requires the operation of an electric pump. If the pair of contacts “P2” (7-6) closes, two sec. then they will force the operation of the other electric pump. The electric pumps in operation will turn off inversely, respectively “P2” and “P1”.
When the “P1” pair closes again, the first electric pump to start will be the next in the alternation sequence. Terminal 1 is common to relay outputs 3, 9 and 11, for motor control and alarm, respectively.
Whenever the “FA” – lack of water control (4-6) remains open, the “F.A.” is lit, the electric pumps can be activated by the commands “P1”, “P2”. When closing the “FA” – lack of water command (4-6), the “F.A.” flashes (1 sec), indicates lack of water, if any electric pump, or both, are activated, after 20 seconds, the electric pump control contacts disarm, after 3 min., in this condition the alarm sets (1 -3).
Failure of the contact pairs: If “P1” remains open and “P2” closes, the electric pumps will be activated, the alarm will arm (1-3), when “P2” opens, the electric pumps will turn off together with the alarm.
When the PA contact pair (6-8) closes, it sets the alarm and indicates that the minimum or maximum pressure switches have been activated.
Note:
The PA input does not interfere with the normal operation of the devices.
