Description
Alternating relay for alternating control of two electropumps, control of lack of water in the tank and alarm output.
Applications
- Alternating control of two electropumps and water level control inside the tank
- Signals of control by closing contact, pressostat and internal timing
- Alternating voltage for water supply probe
Operation
Power the relay (green led on – A.1)
Two sec. after closing the pair of contacts “P1” (5-6), it requires the operation of an electric pump. If the pair of contacts “P2” (7-6) closes, two sec. then they will force the operation of the other electric pump. The electric pumps in operation will turn off inversely, respectively “P2” and “P1”.
When the “P1” pair closes again, the first electric pump to start will be the next in the alternation sequence. Terminal 1 is common to relay outputs 3, 9 and 11, for motor control and alarm, respectively.
Whenever the “FA” – lack of water control (4-6) remains closed, the “F.A.” is lit, the electric pumps can be activated by the commands “P1”, “P2”. When opening the “FA” – lack of water control (4-6), the “F.A.” flashes (1 sec.), indicates lack of water, if any electric pump, or both are activated, after 20 seconds, the control contacts of the electric pumps disarm, after 3 minutes, in this condition the alarm sets (1-3).
Failure of the contact pairs: If “P1” remains open and “P2” closes, the electric pumps will be activated, the alarm will arm (1-3), when “P2” opens, the electric pumps will turn off together with the alarm.
When the pair of PA contacts (6-8) close, it sets the alarm and indicates the presence of water at the maximum limit in the cistern and is at risk of overflowing.
Note:
The PA input does not interfere with the normal operation of the devices.
